Patrick Roddy, Alice Roddy and Tommy Roddy
L. to R.: Patrick Roddy, Alice Roddy and Tommy Roddy formerly of Cloonmacmullen Kingsland, Past Pupils of Kingsland N.S. Patrick Roddy emigrated to USA in 1922. He lived in Cleveland Ohio. He married a Mayo girl, Margaret Sweeney. They had one daughter. Patrick was killed by a car in 1934, aged 32. Alice Roddy emigrated to USA and also lived in Cleveland Ohio. She married a Co. Mayo man, Martin Gallagher, she died after giving birth to her third child, in 1934 aged 30. Tommy Roddy also emigrated to USA and lived in Cleveland Ohio. He married an American girl. They had one daughter. Tommy was conscripted into the army and served in World War 2. He was badly wounded and spent a year in hospital recovering. He is enjoying good health now with his wife and is still living in the U.S.A.

Bridie Harrington and Aggie Harrington, Past Pupils of Kingsland National School formerly of Lacken, Kingsland. Pictured on 22/07/1905.
Bridie entered a convent in England at the age of 18. She remained there until her death at the early age of 32. She died suddenly after a short illness.
